SBI online banking is good. I must agree. But still there are lot of services which needs contacting the branch and filling out papers for simple reason like changing mobile#. From the time they made the High security transaction password thr SMS mandatory, I am not able to transfer money from my SBI account. Its been two weeks since I reported the issue but still its not been resolved. I don't understand why don;t they give an option to disable this functionality.

Hi,

The SBI online banking website allows you to change your mobile number. But you will still need your old mobile number to do that. According to the website,

Mobile number change can be self approved using a One Time SMS password which you will receive in your old mobile number. Alternately, you can also approach the branch for approval.

@abdul gafoor: Hey, are you sure you are trying the correct URL? That should be http://onlinesbi.com

Hi,

I am too out of country & i now need to urgently make an inter bank transaction.

This feature was not there initially so before they make it mandatory & enable they should sent in a mail atleast notifying that you wont be able to do a transaction without the sms code sent on the registered no.

On the website under the "How to do" section, it clearly mentions that how to enable/disable the feature, but the same does not appear in my account login.

Need to send an email regarding this to sbi in india, but can't trace an email id where i can send in such query.

Or any contact no. to resolve the issue at urgent.

Kindly help.
