My luck ain’t going well these days!!

1. Yesterday while it was raining, I was awake till late night and mosquitoes from Namibia, Uganda & Somalia stormed into my room and dug their proboscises deep into my dermis. Also myriads of small and bizzare insects bit me hither and tither. I scratched and scratched and developed a terrific hypersensitivity reaction by morning which worsened by afternoon. Living on cetrizine 10 mg once daily!

2. Today Dr. MSM promised Subham and me a treat at Hotel Saluja the reason to celebrate being Subham’s b’day which fell on last month. Subham is at home and was supposed to return today but he could not! Due to a goddamn bus strike at Raiganj. So the plan got cancelled for the time being

3. Last night with my eyes on laptop screen I extended my hand to take a book only to hit the after shave bottle which fell with a great force and shattered into pieces! It was almost full

4. Last monday Dr. MSM and I went to Sudhriti for dinner. But unfortunately it was closed That very evening, while we were walking the good doc’s feet fell into a 1 foot deep pothole and the big man almost fell! But with great dexterity he balanced himself! I was almost sure he was going to hit ground. (No wonder he was the champion athlete at NBMC during his college years with his records unbeaten till date. Otherwise you can’t expect such fitness at this age.) Whatever it is, can you imagine the bad luck.

As if to break free from this spell of misfortune and tide things in my favour, this evening I hit CCD with friends to chill! Then went to Johnda’s place (Dr. JJS) where we had some relaxed adda over coke. The coke was fizzy for sure!
