From next year, WBJEE is going to have a new set of rules. A minimum cut-off, which is already there for medical candidates, has been introduced for engineering candidates as well.
- Maximum no.of attemtps limited to 3 consecutive years, starting from class 12 board exam.
- Single-day exam schedule
- Single-phase counselling
- Minimum 30% marks in English in class 12 board exam.
- For engineering, minimum 45% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics combined in class 12 board exam.
- Minimum cut-off marks in engineering every year.
- Intake through AIEEE reduced to 10%.

Rightnow I am left alone with only one sister after the sudden assassination of my father the family has been displaced and totally disorganized left with
nothing.
Early that year before the death of my father travelled to abidjan where he told the family that he deposited 18.5 million USD in a Bank in Abidjan Cote d’ivoire ,now we are looking for a God fearing person who will assist us in transfering the money into his account. So I decided to go and search for the documents where my father use to keep them in his room, I discovered the documents covering the deposit he made with the Bank and other documents for his business. As my town has been a serious war zone, I made arrangement and leave the country with my sister to abidjan Cote d’ivoire now.
We have gone and conform the deposit with the Bank with all the documents, all the documents are with me here. Now I wish to transfer these funds abroad and enter into a business venture as the country (Coted’ivoire) is no longer in peace since October 2002 the country has witness all sort of political unrest ranging from ethnic clash which resulted to killing of innocent citizens and strangers are living in fears as the country is no longer that peaceful nation as it
was before due to this reason that I have decided to contact you, to assist me to transfered this money out of this country for the future of me and my younger sister. As soon as you show your sincererity and interesting we will talk about your persentage and how to invest the money on your advice.

i want to make everyone aware of the blunder made by the west bengal joint entrance examinations board whle deciding the merit.they have violated the right to information act.i am explaining it with the help of an example.
student-1-maths-30,phy&chem-88,total-118,total as per the boards method-148.
student-2-maths-40,phy&chem-70,total-110,total as per the boards method-150.
that means in the new rule the board has doubled the marks obtained by a candidate in maths for engg. and biology for medical.
as per most accepted rule followed by other entrance exams(like aieee,iit-jee),student-1 should have secured much higher rank than student-2.but as per the new method, student-2 has scored higher rank than student-1.
i don’t know how the board has incorporated the new formula for determining the merit list without even informing the candidates before the exam and why they are giving so much importance to maths or biology when the marks in maths or bio.(100) is already double of that of phy(50) and chem(50).
so,it is my request to all candidates and parents to fight against this injustice and request the joint entrance board to prepare another merit list with general norms.
